5 days a week I get up and force myself to do push-ups, pull-ups and planks. I only started doing it 3 years ago and rarely look forward to it. But the result matters more to me than the process.
And every time I think I might have an excuse to give it up for good, like when on a long vacation, I find myself craving the workout within a few days. It's completely reframed my old mindset.
Love the map metaphor, couldn't be more on point 🫶🏼
I'm a sucker for when someone uses analogies about GPS, maps, etc. I find myself nodding every time 😆
This made me smile and say “this is great”-too.
Thanks, Steffen! My therapist was on fire that day. :-)
Love the Attia video - thanks for sharing!

That's awesome! Great to hear. 😀

Wow, I'd love to get to the point where I crave this healthy habit 😉
I'm definitely still relying on willpower 😆
Yeah but it's only after taking 3-4 days off. When I'm in my standard routine, I hate it!
Ahh, interesting! Very cool that you've stuck with the routine and that it's created some kind of healthy feedback loop.
